The first section is a biography of undoubtedly one of the most important men in Australian orchidology - H.M.R. Rupp. The second section is a collection of Rupp's memoirs edited by the author.
Many B&W photos by Rupp, many line drawings and colour plates. An interesting insight into the man who did so much for Australian orchids. Worthy of being in any orchid lover's library.
No 22 of 1030 sets, 72 plates and descriptions of Australian native orchids. In many cases the first 3 parts were bound and called Vol 1 - only 4 parts were ever published of an intended 11 parts.
