Over 170 photographs of orchids are presented.  The limitless variety of colours and shapes have been captured by Taskashi Kijima, a prominent Japanese photographer.  The author, P. Francis Hunt, describes the fascination of these flowers to man, their structure, pollination, germination, floral and vegetative features.
